A few years back, me and some friends took a whirlwind, 10-day trip through no less than 7 cities in Italy. It was one of, if not the most incredible 10 days of my life. We brought back many things from our trip besides wonderful memories. I fulfilled a longtime goal of owning my own set of Italian pasta bowls after having drooled over my mother’s for so many years. So naturally, any time I can use them, I like to fill them with recipes that remind me of our trip through Italia. One of my favorite recipes (not to mention easiest and quickest to make) from that adventure, was Penne alla Vodka at Acqua al 2 in Florence. I just follow this recipe to the letter and it comes out perfect everytime. It’s a fool proof meal that sounds fancy and is sure to impress any dinner guest.
