I can’t believe we’re already prepping for July 4th! Time to start planning what dish to make for the BBQ and what to wear to watch the fireworks and sparklers. Since gingham is THE print of the summer (second only to the palm print) I figure I’ll double up on this southern staple and go with a breezy midi skirt and a wrap crop top (last seen here). I actually wore this same outfit a month ago to a Memorial Day cook out and loved how cool and breezy it was. These sandals have been some of the most versatile pairs of shoes I’ve purchased in a long time. I actually may buy a second pair now that they’re on sale because I’ll probably wear these out before my trip to Italy in September (which will obviously require a cute pair of sandals).
On a completely different note, I think it’s clear from these pictures that I need to get my hair done soon. 😉
