That’s it. It’s officially the holiday season. Thanksgiving is only a few short weeks away so it’s time to dive into all those cookbooks and saved food magazines to try and find some mouth-watering recipes to wow the family with this year. In honor of the season, I’ll be doing a 4-part Thanksgiving series centered solely on one of my favorite holiday ingredients, the apple. All would be perfect for your family table and surprisingly easy to make.
First up, the Apple Rose. This is about as eye-catching as it gets. The first time I saw one of these beauties I was definitely intimidated but what looked to be hours of precise and difficult steps. Nope, it’s actually the complete opposite. I followed this recipe and came out with a beautiful little bite that makes a great hostess gift for the holidays.
