I realize it’s a pretty “basic b*tch” thing to say (and I have a co-worker who will use this as further proof of my overt frou-frouness), but one of the best parts of the Fall season is the SCARVES. Blanket scarves are probably one of the most ingenious items. I can wear one in the traditional way around my neck with a cute sweater and coat. I can wear one over my shoulders like a massive blanket that I can wrap myself in and remain in a constant state of cozy. Plus it can double as a picnic blanket at a moments notice! While I was home in Goose Creek last week I practically lived in this blanket scarf from Old Navy (since sold out but here’s a similar one). The colors are the perfect Fall hues and all go so perfectly with my wide-leg chinos (still giving my Katherine Hepburn vibes by the way). You can’t see them because of the pants leg but I’ve got a pair of leopard heels on under there so see!? Blanket scarves are also great for mixing prints which is always a win in my book. Hope everyone has a great weekend and bundles up in their favorite blanket scarf as well. 🙂
