While I’ll admit it was quite a dramatic way to go about it, Hurricane Irma definitely served as the official end of Summer in my book. So, it’s time to turn my attention towards Fall and all things cozy, crisp, and comfortable. It’s shaping up to be a very busy Fall season, with me constantly on the go. I enjoyed my lazy Summer days, albeit briefly, but I’m actually looking forward to the change in pace to my everyday. What is also working in my favor is that I’m still in the process of unpacking and completely unloading my entire wardrobe. Every morning is a hunt to find a sweater or a trouser or a loafer that all work together. And don’t even get me started on pulling together matching accessories. In short, it’s been a nightmare that is slowly playing out in my closet. Luckily, Vera Bradley has come to my rescue with the new “Change It Up” line. They have bridged versatility and style to create a bag that can take you from any day-to-day scenario, day-to-night social schedule, or outfit-to-outfit need. I loved this black backpack (that can also be used as a top-handle tote) that has been so on trend lately. Now I know we aren’t used to seeing a solid textile from the Vera Bradley team, but don’t worry, the interior is lined with a classic printed fabric to remind you that this is the same line you’ve been loving for years.
I bought my first Vera Bradley bag when I was in college. They had finally come out with a pattern in my sorority’s colors so we all flocked to the Anderson Mall to snag a bag. While the bag is no longer in my usual outfit rotation, I still have it tucked away for sentimental reasons. I love seeing a brand grow and change with it’s customers like Vera Bradley has with this new line. Those of us who loved and were excited by the release of new patterns back in college can still get just as excited about new looks and products 10 years later that fit our life now the same way a pink and green paisley wallet clutch used to (still have that too, and ya know what, it looks great with my new backpack). Vera Bradley has several other options and looks in their new “Change It Up” line so make sure you check it out!
