When I go home, one of my favorite things to do is to go flea market shopping.  Not surprisingly, Charleston has no shortage of awesome markets for me to explore, but my absolute favorite is the historic Charleston City Market in Downtown Charleston (you can read all about the history here).  It’s a long stretch of vendor booths that range from sterling silver jewelry, framed portraits of Charleston locales, and of course the famed sweetgrass baskets that almost synonymous with they city.  Next time you’re in town, definitely stop by this landmark and treat yourself to some pineapple-themed keepsakes.  I know I always do.
