Lately, I’ve been gravitating towards a very neutral palate. Well that palate has also started to morph into a bit of a french look. Maybe it’s because the weather is starting to chill out or maybe it’s because I’m desperate to take a trip to France after such an amazing week in Italy a month ago. Probably both ;-). Black and white stripes always have a french vibe to them (also a mime vibe, but I’m far too loud for that to ever last very long). Throw in a Bardot-inspired hairstyle and everything starts to become a bit of a French affair. It’s very rare that I come across a stripe that I don’t like. Stripes are just such a universally and timeless print that everyone should have in their closet. I remember growing up hearing constantly that horizontal stripes are not flattering to the female form. What!? Some of my favorite looks involve horizontal stripes.
