I purchased this skirt a couple of years ago.  I was so in love with the picnic blanket print that I actually bought the skirt 4 sizes too big because it was all that was left in stock.  Needless to say there was an abundance of excess fabric, but after quite a bit of tailoring it’s become one of my favorite fall pieces.  Fall is a season made for a mix of textures and prints, and luckily my favorite skirt pairs just as easily with a light silk blouse in October as it does a heavy cotton carhart in December.
