Some people might think it’s weird to wait until it’s Fall and in the 60’s to do an ice cream post, but this sundae is custom made just for this particular season. It takes the usual fall flavors like pumpkin and apple cider, and uses those warm flavors to surround the cold ice cream. A chocolate outer shell and a cherry on top (three for me) adds the sundae touch for those traditionalists who may still be wary. I followed this recipe for the mini pumpkin bundt cakes (pan can be purchased here). You can buy all of the rest of the ingredients at your local grocery store, but if you want that extra apple cider twist to your caramel, follow this easy recipe to knock this little dessert out of the park.
