I am LOVING that it is finally October, my favorite month of the year. The Fall colors, the clothes, the scarves are all starting to make their way out of my closet and back into my daily life. I love that fall florals have become more and more popular over the last several seasons. To be sure, it was the print of this dress that first caught my attention, but when I actually tried it on, I loved that it was made of a thicker material for those chilly Fall evenings, and the lace detailing at the top added a simple yet sexy touch.
The main reason behind my trip to Italy last week was to celebrate the wedding of one of my favorite Atlantians, Katherine. Packing for a fancy, schmancy wedding in the Italian countryside isn’t the easiest task. You need something that won’t wrinkle, doesn’t take up a ton of space in your travel bag, and of course looks effortlessly chic. Luckily, my dress hit all of those points, but I was still going to need some sort of light jacket for the cooler Italian nights. I had the last minute idea to throw in my favorite fringe jacket (last seen here) and once we were in Treviso, Meggie and Julie Anne validated my choice to drape over my shoulders for the night.
One last note, walking on the Italian cobblestone in those Steve Madden heels was no easy feet. But remember, ladies wobble but they don’t fall down. 😉
