One of my favorite things about Summer is the onslaught of cute sundresses. A good sundress is one that can be worn casually to the grocery store with some flats and a tote, but can easily be dressed up with some heels and the some statement jewelry. There’s an added bonus if it’s a lightweight dress that won’t make me feel like I’m melting in the hot Atlanta sun. This dress was an unplanned find at Nordstrom a few weeks back when I was looking for something cute to wear to an evening event. I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for at the time, but this particular piece had so much going for it (color, print, price, ruffles, etc.) that I added it to my try-on pile. It wasn’t until I was in the dressing room that I realized it was a sundress/wrap dress combo. Few things accentuate the female form like a wrap dress. They are every girl’s best friend. I’ve worn this dress now to a couple of events and I’m thinking I may need to pick up one or two more in different patterns. I’d love one that I can wear into the fall with a pair of boots and a fedora.
