Well, I’m baaaaaaack. In case you don’t follow me on Instagram, I’ve been traveling through Italy and Germany for the past week with some friends. I’ll have a full recap of the trip’s itinerary later this week, but for right now I want to focus on the clothes that went on this journey with me, specifically these pants! I wore this outfit on our first full day in Florence, Italy which was also the day we were scheduled to climb the Duomo (463 stairs!), walk the Ponte Vecchio, and sip an Aperol Spritz or two. This was not the day for a cute sundress. Climbing the Duomo is not the easiest of climbs (even though it’s all indoors, those stairs can get pretty steep and pretty tight) so I needed something light, comfortable, and cute to boot. I loved the pattern of these pants and immediately decided this was a great opportunity to mix some prints, Italy style and throw in some pops of red. The gold mules were another fun edition that were surprisingly adept at keeping my feet comfortable as we wandered from piazzo to palazzo and back again.
