To me, make-up has always been about looking like you’re not wearing any. Subtle enhancements that look natural (i.e., the exact opposite of the Kardashian clan). Now, usually these effortless looking looks, take… well… effort. Today, I’m talking all about the eyes. Making those pretty peepers of yours pop.
What you’ll need: Under Eye Concealer, Applicator, Illuminator, Mascara, Eye Lash Curler, Eye Liner (not black)
Step 1: After applying your no-foundation foundation and filling in your eyebrows, apply the under eye concealer, umm… under your eyes… in a triangle shape. I like to use a hypo-allergenic product but go with what you know. Using a make-up applicator blend the concealer upwards, keeping to the triangle shape. This helps to create an optical illusion that will make the skin closest to your eyes brighter and younger-looking.
Step 2: Using the illuminator, dab small dots along the high cheek bone, the brow bone, and the inner eye. Using your middle or ring finger, blend the dots upwards along the cheeck and temple, across the brow, and into the inner eye with quick taps until the skin looks dewy and youthful.
Step 3: Apply one coat of mascara along both upper and lower lashes. You don’t want more because remember, we’re going for a natural look here. Next, line your upper eyelid with a thin line. This well help to make your lash line look thicker. If you’re still a novice with the liner, try first making small dots about 1/4-inch apart across the lid, right at the lash line. With quick, light strokes, connect the dots.
Step 4: Bat those eyelashes through all the compliments coming your way 😉
