Confession: Even though I grew up a coastal Southerner, I’ve never been the biggest beach goer.  Shocking I know.  In all honesty, frolicking in the waves is great fun, but sand and laying out for an extended period of time has just never been my cup of tea.  I get antsy pretty quickly and start looking for some sort of activity to occupy myself with.  So to get me amped up for a day at the beach, I’ll pack up my favorite Charleston tote, a couple of great hats, and throw on my favorite sailboat shorts and lightweight floral sweater before heading out to the sandy beaches of Sullivan’s Island with some of my favorites.  Sometimes, all you need is a little clothing love to get you in the mood.
