Fun fact about me, I’ve never been a huge fan of icing. I love the current “naked cake” fad because it means less sugary icing and more of the good stuff: cake. I’d been wanting to try this recipe for sometime now and new there would be a summer BBQ that I could try it out at. I wasn’t sure what to expect with these flavors not only being mixed together but in a cake. I was pleasantly surprised with the results, and I think so were the other revelers since the cake vanished in minutes! The best part of a naked cake, presentation doesn’t matter as much. It’s supposed to look unfinished, so there’s no need to sweat the small stuff here, it’s all about the great taste.
