The morning after New Year’s Eve I wanted, no needed a sparkly brunch.  Mission: Accomplished!  My friend Katherine is always up for something fun and silly and she’s always one of my favorite brunch mates so she was more than happy to go along with the impromptu theme.  I hate the idea of packing away my holiday finest for 11 months so I rebeled a bit.  Since my favorite sparkler is already pretty short in the hem department it was pretty easy to throw it on over some brunch-friendly jeans and heels.  I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to really pack this dress away, truth be told.

And for anyone thinking this is a “Walk of Shame” outfit, I’d like to think of it as more of a “Stride of Pride” ensemble. 😉
