So I recently took a trip to Europe. Just kidding! But don’t these pictures give off a serious Parisian vibe? These were actually taken in Midtown Atlanta if you can believe it. My friend Faith and I had been talking about how fun a blog post would be at the Millennium Gate Museum given how much it looks like the Arc de Triomphe, so we headed over on a sunny Tuesday around lunchtime and had a little fun.
I have been dying to feature this dress on the blog for awhile now (I originally bought it months ago for my cousin’s wedding) but just hadn’t figured out the best way to shoot it. But this seemed like the perfect place. The dress has a very 60’s vibe to it. It’s very simple, but the bold color and stiff ruffle keep it from blending in to any crowd. Since all of the drama was up around my neck, I decided a little pop of fun would accent the dress perfectly, so I had to incorporate my favorite clutch. Tassels are so in right now, and I just can’t get enough.
Oh! And if you love this dress but aren’t sure about the color are the length, it comes in tons of color and in a cocktail length! How cute would a shorter version in mint be!?
