It can be a little intimidating dressing for a fashion event.  You don’t want to over do it, but you don’t want to be underdressed.  You want to stand out in the crowd, but not look like you’re trying too hard.  Fashion forward, without being a fashion victim.  Yep, it’s a tough needle to thread.  I’ve had this jacket from Alice + Olivia for several months now (last seen here).  I’ve worn it sparingly but I still have a ton of ideas on how to style it.  RAGTRADE Atlanta seemed like the perfect place to try is in more of a scaled down style.  The jacket is the eye catcher, without a doubt, so I kept the rest of the outfit very simple and down-to-earth.  The ripped up boyfriend denim was a fun mix with this hand beaded masterpiece.  It kept the focus on the jacket instead where I wanted it, but helped to make it a bit more casual.  Well… as casual as a sequin duster jacket can be.  😉
