For my birthday a few years back, my best friend Amber (soulmate really) gave me a Vintage Cocktail book that I had been coveting for years but, for what ever reason, had never purchased for myself.  What’s more impressive is she bought it 8 months prior to my birthday, right in front of me without my knowing, and left it with Emily since Amber lives way too far away.  Is she not the best or what!?  This book is filled with some pretty impressive and visually stunning spirits.  Even if you aren’t into cocktails, this would still make an excellent coffee table conversation piece (also Christmas gift).  I decided the first cocktail I would attempt is the stunner on the cover.  And in that spirit (see what I did there?) I invited some girlfriends over to sample this concoction named after and inspired by the ladies of Sex and the City.  I give you, The Bradshaw.
