So many of us are at that age where our springs and falls involve quite a few wedding weekends, whether as a guest, a member of the bridal party, or even the actual bride and groom. As magical as that day can be, the planning that it takes to get there can oftentimes be somewhat painful. Back in 2012 a little online company, called Weddington Way was born to try and help make the clothing coordination process a lot easier. Over the last 5 years the company has grown considerably and they have now branched out from a personalized online experience to 10 physical locations all over the country! Partnering with Banana Republic, you can now go into a Weddington Way shop to try-on dresses, snag some free swatches in a beautiful array of colors, and get sizing and styling tips from one of their in-store experts!
Last week, I got to walk through the new space at the Lenox Square Mall Banana Republic, speak with Danielle Shriber, Weddington Way’s VP of Design, and play dress-up with some truly gorgeous gowns all while celebrating this great new edition to the Atlanta shopping scene. The party was so fantastic and fun! I invited Katherine, seeing as how she actually is a bride, and together we got our hair and make-up done, munched on some truly amazing bites (rose & pistachio chocolate bark, anyone!!), got a crash course in calligraphy, and just had an all around great time thanks to the many amazing vendors with Boxwood Bridal Event Pod. While Weddington Way is geared towards the bridal arena, there were several dresses that I think need to come home with me just because a midnight blue sequin gown seems like a pretty versatile piece in my estimation. 😉
