I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time dressing for a summer night out with my gals. I overheat rather quickly, but I take forever to cool down (like hours), so I have to make sure not to wear anything that’s too heavy. Jeans are out of the question and tend to feel like they get heavier as the humid evening progresses. A bright short is a great alternative, because I can tear up the dance floor comfortably, and it gives an outfit a great pop of color that most denim just doesn’t afford. Of course I love playing with different patterns, but if you’re still not sure a leopard-striped outfit is for you, try keeping with patterns that are similar but not exactly the same like an always chic polka dot, mixed with a classic leopard spot, with a studded clutch thrown in for a bit of funk.
Voila! Enjoy those Summer Nights
