I work in an industry that is predominantly male. As I’ve grown up, I’ve noticed that I’ve started incorporating more and more masculine pieces into my work wardrobe. I suppose it started with the addition of my grandfather’s cufflinks (one of my greatest treasures) and french cuffs. Now I don’t go full on androgynous, nor do I think I could ever pull that look off. Instead I like to pair more masculine items with equally feminine items, like this tuxedo bib pullover with a pencil skirt and sky-high stilettos. To me, it’s kind of a “Be warned. I can hang with the boys.” type of subtext.
