Perfectly Parisian

Obviously I’m not in Paris, but that doesn’t mean I can’t pretend, right? I recently featured my first Chicwish midi skirt a few months ago with this post and this post, and this is the continuation of that love affair. When I was originally styling this skirt my mind was going in two different directions: Brigitte Bardot or Madeline. In all honesty, I started down the Bardot lane first but something just wasn’t coming together. So, I shifted gears when I came across this shimmery gingham popover in the back of my closet. I know I’m mixing a lot of themes here: a french skirt, a english book clutch, a southern gingham; but whatever it’s all working for me. And if we ever do get a Spring season here in Atlanta (we’re going on the 93rd day of January), I’ll be ready for a little springtime stroll or picnic.
